Stellaris Version: 4.0
Overview
This mod allows you to properly specialize your Ecumenopoli in trade, reasearch, or military by adding arcologies of those types. Additionally, it adds/modifies colony designations so these new arcologies can be used with planetary automation. The goal was to keep the arcologies in line with vanilla so housing, jobs, and resource costs are based on that.
Arcologies
Trade
- 10 Housing
- 2 Clerk Jobs
- 4 Trader Jobs
- Cost Minerals and Rare Crystals
Research
- 10 Housing
- 6 Researcher Jobs
- Cost Minerals and Exotic Gases
Military
- 10 Housing
- 6 Soldier Jobs
- Cost Minerals and Volatile Motes
Designations
Ecumenopolis
The Ecumenopolis designation no longer gives a bonus to trade value and is now focused on a mixed Ecumenopolis with bonuses to building and district upkeep, like the original, and an increase to immigration pull.
Planetary automation with this designation will focus on the following districts
- Consumer Goods
- Alloys
- Unity
- Research
- Trade
Trade Ecumenopolis
The new Trade Ecumenopolis designation has the +20% trade value from the original Ecumenopolis designation and its planetary automation will focus on building trade arcologies.
Research Ecumenopolis
The Research Ecumenopolis designation was slightly modified to allow planetary automation to focus on building research arcologies.
Fortress Ecumenopolis
The new Fortress Ecumenopolis designation was made similar to the colony designation of the same name and focuses on building military arcologies
Requirements
The only requirement for this mod is
UI Overhaul Dynamic or another mod which allows you to see additional districts on planets.
Compatibility
The main part of this mod, adding arcologies, doesn't modify any vanilla files so it should work with most other mods as long as they don't modify Ecumenopoli. However, the designations and planetary automation do modify some vanilla files so if you are worried about that, just have those mods load after this mod. In that case, the planetary automation might not work properly but I believe the new arcologies should still be there.
