Empires Expanded, previously known as Civics Expanded Plus, is a mod about revamping your Stellaris experience while still preserving that feeling of vanilla Stellaris to an extent. There is a great variety of options for the players and AI to choose from, from civics to ascension perks, scaling from minor to game-changing.

Love and care goes into making and fine-tuning all the high quality images, icons, localisation, storylines and content included in this mod, and as such, your feedback is highly appreciated! Any balance suggestions, bug reports and other assistance is very welcome!

This mod adds:
- 30 default civics
- 10 hive civics
- 5 machine civics
- 10 corporate civics
- 5 ascension perks
- 4 policies
- 6 edicts
- 3 origins
- 9 traits
- Relics, buildings, techs, federations and much more!


Some features of the mod affects the policies and factions of the base game, meaning other mods that modify the same files may be partially incompatible with this mod unless a compatibility patch exists. If you want to use this mod with another mod that changes the same files and you don't mind losing one or two features, you can use Empires Expanded: Lite Edition, which is the same, apart from all the changes to the base game files.

Some of the content of this mod, namely some of the new civics, might be drastically stronger or more in-depth that some of the vanilla Stellaris civics. As such, it is recommended to use Empires Expanded: Vanilla Overhaul (Submod), which strengthens a large majority of vanilla civics to be more in-line with this mod's civics. However, using the add-on may cause incompatibility with other mods that alter vanilla civics. This mod is not needed to use the add-on, however.

The old version of this mod, Civics Expanded+, is still available at Civics Expanded+ (LEGACY). That version will not be getting any new content, but it may be updated regularly to remain playable with the current version of Stellaris. It is not, however, recommended to use that version, due to it being quite old.

It's recommended (but not necessary) to use a mod that adds an extra starting civic slot, like 3 Civic Slots.

We will make newer ones as per your requests. If you wish to utilise other mods with this one, you can try out Empires Expanded: Lite Edition, which has all the same features, apart from the ones that modify the above files.
