BSW no longer changes the vanilla AI personality file (00_personalities.txt).
- This should improve compatibility with some mods.
- The defense slot configuration of some AI personalities will be changed compared to the previous version of BSW.

Increased System Size and Changed Ship Speed Mechanism
Overall, the solar systems have expanded to a little less than double.
Increased tactical options and maneuvering range during combat.
All ships have the same basic sublight speed, and have different speed modifiers depending on the non-combat/combat situation.
The ship's non-combat speed is determined by the size/class of the ship.
Small ships receive large bonus. The speed bonus large ships is very small.
Instead, we've significantly increased the hull points and component slots of cruisers, battleships and titans to improve their combat capabilities.
The ship's combat speed is determined by the ship's role.
Regardless of the size of the ship, you will receive a bonus based on the ship's behavior as determined by the combat computer.
Fleets with large ships now lacks strategic mobility.
But in battle, they will show great firepower and defense.
This will require the formation of a main force and a mobile unit in fleet organization.
Caution : Increasing the minimum system size may result in a empty space around the system. This is not a bug.
Caution : Star system size change does not apply to previous save files.
Changes in Ship Behavior and Combat Computer
Modifications in the ship combat computers and ship behaviors allow more tactical combat.
Swarm combat computers have a very large bonus to combat speed but no fire rate bonus now.
Allows ships to fight as a vanguard and defend other friendly ships.
It will also slow down the speed of nearby enemy ships, providing a protection for allies in the rear.
Picket combat computers have a small bonus to combat speed.
This allows the ships to be properly positioned for fleet air defense.
Line combat computers have a moderate bonus to combat speed.
Artillery computers now have an increased combat range according to the weapon range bonus.
The newly added maximum range computers set the range of the ship's longest weapon range as the combat range.
Allowing ships to launch long-range attacks from the rear.
Ships using the carrier combat computer will launch their strikecrafts and fall back to the behind during battle.
Thanks to the engagement distance bonus, they will be able to attack with their strikecrafts from a great distance.
Weapon Balance
Missiles and strikecrafts are weak against point defense weapons, but will be very powerful against a fleet with poor AA systems.
AA weapons are effective against strikecrafts and missiles, but their damage against shields and armor is weakened, making them very weak against normal ships.
However, it will be somewhat useful against enemy ships that do not have armor or shields.
Missiles have a longer range than X-slot weapons in the end.
It can inflict heavy damage from long range against enemies with poor air defense.
Bombers are more effective in anti-ship attacks, but unable to do air defense.
Also, ships equipped with bombers will have less ship hull points due to the risk of detonation.
AA interceptors can intercept missiles or enemy aircraft.
It will take a long time for an carrier to sortie all strikecraft.
In the meantime, you'll need auxiliary ships that can keep your carriers away from the enemies and make some time.
It will not be easy to quickly eliminate enemy carriers that are fleeing at the start of the battle,
Therefore, AA ships are necessary when dealing with carriers.
By adjusting the stats of the X-slot and L-slot weapons, balance between them has been met.
Added a T-slot kinetic weapon (Perdition Cannon).
Imporoved Titans, Juggernauts and Starbases
The Titan is now strong enough to be used as a fleet flagship.
The Juggernaut is enhanced to match the status of the imperial supreme flagship.
Starbases now inflict attrition damage to enemy fleets engaged in the system.
Added air defense slots to star bases.
New Ship Sections
More than 100 ship sections have been added, with a total of more than 2000 designs available.
You can use sections that dedicated on a specific role, such as missiles, strikecraft, or heavy artillery,
Firepower sectons that increase attack power by sacrificing defense,
Or heavy armor sections that enhance defense.
You can also use X-slot weapons on cruisers by using the cruiser spinal mount bow.
Enhanced AI Empire Ship Building and Fleet Construction
AI Empires design ships using appropriate ship sections, combat computers, and parts
According to the role composition of each ship class according to the AI personalities.
The ships designed in this way are combined in various proportions to form a fleet.
They also determine whether or not to use AA ships according to the fleet composition of nearby enemies or rivals, and adjusts the ratio.
The ship designs of the Fallen Empires and the Crisis have also been partially strengthened.
Research Balance
Strikecraft technology has moved to physics (computer), which will reduce the numbers of engineering weapon techs.
By re-adjusting the repeatable techs, the number of infinitely repeatable repetitive techs between areas has been balanced.
Electronic Warfare and Spec Ops Ships
You can also design electronic warfare ships to strengthen your fleet or undermine the enemy fleet.
You can use spec ops corvettes that self-destruct or capture enemy ships, and repair corvettes that repair your own fleet's ships.
