Beefs up starbases and introduces a few new buildings. For version 3.4


Starbases
- New T6 Starbase Stellar Bastion, gives 12 module and 8 building slots, 24 platform slots, twice the hp and armor as a citadel, has access to a titan weapon slot (with Apocalypse only)
- Star Fortress gives 4 building slots
- Citadel gives 9 module slots and 6 building slots, 18 platform slots
- Starbases get more medium slots
- Starbases get additional utility slots
- All starbases except outposts gets hanger slots
- Starhold and above gets extra guided and large slots
- Citadel and above gets extra large slots
- Starbases get point defense slots
- Star Fortress and Citadel get additional auxiliary component slots
- Juggernauts now also get 1 titan weapon and 3 large weapons
- Juggernauts now have +30,000 base armor
- Ships built at Juggernauts start with 100 xp
- Ion Cannons only take up 4 defense platform slots

Starbase Modules
- The weapon modules give +1 weapon slot each, hanger bay also gives +1 point defense slot

Starbase Buildings
- NEW: Pulsar Observatory, +15 engineering, requires level 3 sensor tech, produces motes with Mote Stabilization tech
- NEW: Interstellar Customs Office, gives +1 trade collection and protection range, +10 trade protection, +5 trade value, and +5 society research. Can only be built in systems bordering a country with whom you have a commercial pact. Requires Intergalactic Customs, not available to gestalts and criminal syndicates
- New: Syndicate Free Haven, gives +1 protection range, +20 trade protection, +10 trade value. Requires Criminal Syndicate civic. Can only be built in systems bordering a country that has one of your branch offices on one of their planets. Requires Intergalactic Customs
- NEW: Trading post, gives +8 minerals, +2 alloys. Requires Gestalt ethics. Can only be built in systems bordering a country that has open borders with you. Requires Intergalactic Trade
- - Customs Offices and equivalents give +5 energy with the Holistic Asset Coordination resolution
- NEW: Stellar Fortifications, gives +25% shields and armor, requires starbase fortification I
- NEW: Patrol Office, doubles trade protection and protection range from the three military modules. Requires Interstellar Enforcement
- NEW: Dathnak Embassy, gives +10 society research, +10 trade/energy, can only be built in systems with Dathnak colonies
- NEW: Resource Processing Center, gives +100% mining station output, requires Nanite Mineral Probes
- NEW: Minelayer Hanger, 20% chance per day to cause 10-25 damage, ignoring 75% of armor
- Offworld Trading Company gives +10% system trade value
- Resource Silos give +4000 storage
- Listening Posts give +1 base intel
- Deep Space Black Site gives +3 unity
- Artist College gives +20 unity
- Proxy Office gives +10 trade
- Black Hole Observatories can be built in systems with a natural wormhole
- Curator Think Tank gives +10 of each research type
- Command Center gives +5 tracking
- Communications Jammer gives enemy ships -5 tracking
- Defense Grid Supercomputer gives +10 defense platform capacity, up from +6
- Disruption Field Generator gives enemy ships -25% shields, up from -20%
- Hyperlane Registrar gives +2 trade collection range and +2 trade value
- Target Uplink Computer gives +5 tracking
- Dragon Hatchery requires a shipyard
For Real Space:
- NEW: Protostar observatory, built around young stars, +15 physics, requires level 2 sensor tech, produces gases with Exotic Gas Extraction tech
- Nebula Refinery can be build in any system with a local nebula or proto-planetary disk
- Black Hole Observatory can be built around microquasars

Orbital Rings
- Base Defense Platform Capacity increased by 50%
- Module Slots increased to 4/6/8
- Building Slots increased to 1/2/4
- Orbital Rings get +2 utility slots for all levels
- Tier 3 rings get +1 auxiliary slot
- Tier 3 rings get 1 extra large weapon slot
- 2 point defense slots per level

Orbital Ring Modules
- The weapon modules give +1 weapon slot each, hanger bay also gives +1 point defense slot

Orbital Ring Buildings
- NEW: Atmospheric Manipulator, gives +15% habitability and -15% housing usage, requires Terrestrial Sculpting

Technologies
- NEW: Interstellar Enforcement tech, tier 2, +5 trade protection, gives access to Patrol Office starbase building
- NEW: Intergalactic Customs, tier 2, +5% trade value, +5% diplomatic weight from economy, gives access to Interstellar Customs Office starbase building
- NEW: Intergalactic Trade, tier 2, -5% market fee, +5% diplomatic weight from economy, gives access to Trading Post Office starbase building, Gestalt only.
- NEW: Galactic Trading Company, rare tier 4 tech, Offworld Trading Company gives an additional +2 trade value to trading hubs
- NEW: Interstellar Fleet Doctrines, rare tier 4 tech, Naval Logistic Office gives an additional +2 naval capacity to anchorages
- NEW: Positronic Defense Algorithms, tier 5, Defense-Grid Supercomputer gives an additional +6 defense platform capacity
- NEW: Three engineering techs that increase starbase hull points by +15/+20/+25%. Third tech also increases the bonus for the Stellar Fortifications building and adds daily armor and shield regen
- NEW: Eternal Vigilance, rare tier 4 tech, +25% governing ethics attraction, Deep Space Black Site gives an additional +3 unity and +5% infiltration speed, requires The Living State and The Collective Self
- NEW: Shipyard Optimization, rare tier 4 tech, +25% shipyard construction speed, requires Corps of Engineers
- Nano-Separators give +4 alloys from Nebula Refineries
- Improved Structural Integrity gives +10% starbase hull points
- Synchronized Defenses tech gives +1 starbase capacity

Other
- Grasp the Void grants the next unresearched starbase tech as a research option
- With a fully upgraded Strategic Coordination Centers, Naval Logistic Office gives an additional +2 naval capacity to anchorages
- +1 starbase capacity per 100 pops

This mod is not compatible with mods that add new levels of starbases. If you wish to use these mods together, you will need the no bastion patch:
