This mod was created using a combination of the Swap Face App—featuring faces of various celebrities and athletes—AI art generator and GIMP for detailed corrections and final touch-ups.

Human empires in Stellaris often come across as the most generic and underwhelming option compared to other species. This mod is a simple customization project that adds a wide range of diverse and distinctive human portraits. The goal is to give humanity a stronger visual identity and help human empires stand out — even if just a little bit — to make them feel more unique, immersive, and enjoyable to play.

This mod adds over 550 completely new, high-quality portrait faces to Stellaris, significantly expanding visual diversity while staying true to the game’s aesthetic. It includes 190 faces (95 male and 95 female) from Human Legacy and 362 faces (181 male and 181 female) from New Humans. Among them is a brand new European phenotype, originally created by Lin Nacume — with heartfelt thanks for their outstanding contribution (see credits below).

I have a wealth of creative concepts for event chains, origins, civics, and immersive story-driven content — all deeply rooted in Stellaris lore and flavor. While I understand the basics of scripting and what's technically possible within the engine, I lack the time and coding expertise to fully bring these ideas to life.
If you're a modder or scripter who enjoys the creative side of Stellaris and would like to collaborate on passion-driven projects, I'd love to work together. This is a hobby-based, non-commercial opportunity — purely for the love of world-building and game design. You'll have full creative input, proper credit, and the chance to build something unique as part of a small, like-minded team.
If that sounds interesting, don’t hesitate to reach out — let’s make something awesome together!
